Role
Lead Designer, Project Manager
In 2014, The Rescue Mission of El Paso, in conjunction with TXDOT & the City of El Paso, agreed upon a deal to relocate the Rescue Mission headquarters due to a new TXDOT freeway construction project that is planned to cut through their original property. CDA was brought into the team to Master Plan the new Rescue Mission headquarters on the new properties that they acquired from the City of El Paso. The result is a new 2-story, 35,000 s.f. Housing Shelter Facility and a 14,000 s.f. renovated existing warehouse converted into a Dining Facility equipped with a complete commercial kitchen. The Rescue Mission of El Paso provides such a positive service to the city and we are proud to have had the opportunity to be part of their story through architecture.
Project completed while at Carl Daniel Architects.
